The New Palm Court Orchestra (NPCO) was established by Gemma Turvey in April 2011, primarily as a vehicle to perform her growing body of compositions for larger ensemble.
The NPCO is a small chamber group with a core of players and expands or contracts, as the different compositions require, as well as collaborating with some fantastic guest soloists. The NPCO plays Gemma's signature style compositions and delivers a stunning, rich pallet of beautifully evocative original music.
The NPCO will make their first public performance on October 7th 2011 at the Melbourne Recital Centre's Salon, as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
